Chocolate brownie cake. The perfect treat after a long week at work, curl up on the sofa with a slice. Its incredibly easy to make, you just throw everything in a bowl and mix it up. The cake is moist and chocolatey. Its perfect served warm with cream or ice cream. You’ll definitely be going back for a second slice.
200g caster sugar
30g cocoa powder
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
110g gluten free plain flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Melt the butter in the microwave, or in a bowl over a pan of water.
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat to combine.
- Pour mixture into a lined 8 inch cake tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Eat warm straight away with fruit and cream, eat cold like a slice of cake or reheat and enjoy later on!
